Define what ongoing service includes
Ask which visits, supplies and responsibilities accompany the construction rental. Explain the intensity of use and who can report a problem. Service should be discussed as part of the accepted proposal rather than inferred from the equipment category or an earlier rental on another property.
Coordinate visits with the site manager
Share the receiving entrance and constraints affecting supplier vehicles. Keep the manager informed of placement, service and collection requirements. A changed gate or newly occupied area can affect later access; contact the rental business before moving equipment or assuming a visit can use another route.
Equipment and service details to compare
Make routine visits practical
A recurring rental still needs a clear service approach. Discuss locked gates, loading times and any periods when access cannot be granted. Keep vehicle and pedestrian routes distinct where the site plan requires it. Confirm cleaning, supplies and waste removal in writing; do not assume that an unspecified weekly visit covers every workload.
Close the rental deliberately
Request collection through the agreed contact and confirm the removal arrangement. Finishing the job or sending the crew away does not itself schedule pickup. Keep access available until the equipment has been collected, and review any extension or schedule change before relying on it.
